[Llewellyn honestly hadn’t even considered what month it was when he finally got around to putting the bouquets together. It had just been a gift he wanted to give his friends. That made sense. People giving him presents in return... was still very strange. It didn’t really happen often, or at all anymore.

[He shook his head a little, he could relate to being excited about learning more about new celebrations. Many of the activities and such in the festivals here were very new. He could imagine that Christmas was very exciting to learn about.]
I didn’t really think I’d have a reason to celebrate this year? I normally had dinner with my brother... And I found out a year ago my family is Jewish, so I would be spending time with someone who was helping me learn more about them over Hanukkah. Neither of which could really happen while here.
